    Hi,
I just bought SC2 Lathe Metalworker.
About catting thread in your site it is reported:
"With the powerful torque at low RPMs that the new motor provides, this should be a great setup for cutting threads with a tap: just flip the switch to Reverse to back out the tap and clear the chips from the hole; flip the switch again to resume cutting the threads to the desired depth."

Can I have more explanation about that?
Are you sure that the lead screw will let it?
    kind regards.
    Loriano

    Dear Loriano,

Thank you for choosing our machine.

SC2 can screw thread, but can not taping. The information you see  on the website is for SX3 or SX4, for taping Nut.

If there are any other question, please contact with me.

    Best regards,

    Nancy

    To whom it may concern,
What is the accuracy of the rotation on the C8? What is your tolerance?
The C8 is a geared head. Is it quiet compared to variable drive?
What is the accuracy of the spindle on the X4? What is your tolerance?
Does the X4 have a variable speed, as well as geared head?
    Thankyou for your time,
    Dave

    Dear Dave,

Sorry for reply you so late.

The detail information I will send to you by email.

    Best regards,

    Nancy

    Hi,

Recently I purchaced a C4 lathe and a C4 oil tray. Now I am trying to design a custom movable stand for the lathe with the oil tray on top of it. I have 3 questions about the oil tray:
    1. There are 4 mounting holes in the bottom of the tray. What is the distance between the hole centers?
    2. There are 4 threaded holes to mount the lathe on the tray. What are the threads? In other words, what screws should I use to fix the lathe to the tray?
    3. Before I start cutting the stand parts I want to make a 3D CAD model to check that everything fits and moves properly. Can you email me a drawing or a 3D model of the tray?

    Thanks,
    Eli

    Dear Eli,

Thank you for using SIEG machine.

We have the drawing for the oil tray , and I will send it to you by email.

    Best regards,

    Nancy
